Lights, blinds and knick knacks
Well seeing we have around 3 - 5 weeks left we have started to look at all the "extra" stuff we need like light fittings, pictures and other bits that we want to decorate the house with. We have found choosing the window coverings the hardest. In my 3 houses that we have lived in i have all ways known what we wanted.
We have come to the conclusion that we would like to have either Romans or Holland blinds with the sun shades under or on their own.
so saying this here are some of the colours we have chose so far. we haven't made a decision on colour yet.
so here are some of the colours we have chose. feel free to tell us how you feel :)

The Schedule for the Next Week...
Hi All,
Here is the schedule for the next week:
Tuesday - Scaffolding goes up to enable access for the aluminium feature panels and balcony railing to be installed.
Wednesday - Installation of the aluminium feature panels and balcony railing.
Friday - Scaffolding comes down.
Sat & Sun - nuffin planned.
Monday - Concretor arrives to form up and pour front steps and Ground Floor balcony and the back steps (near laundry).
Also, we have been expecting the Cornice installers for the past 4 weeks but they haven't shown up and we don't know when they will arrive. As soon as they are done then the painters can come in.
Bye for now...

Some General Photos Around The House...
The first 3 photos are of the front porch prior to the porch slab being poured. The first photo shows the newly created access hole for the underneath area of the porch - will be a great wine cellar :-)
Further down there is a couple of photos of our cheeky kids, from Left: Tommy, Josh, Kevan and Kalinda (you wouldn't think Tommy & Josh were the twins, would you?).

Tiling Continues (and even more grouted)...
The tilers continue to do a great job. All of the downstairs floor tiling is now grouted. The upstairs bathrooms have been partly finished and the ensuite hob (around the corner bath) has been built and will be ready for tiling tomorrow (can't wait to see it).
Thankyou to the the tilers for letting us take photos...
